Important Dates for IBPS RRB 2024

The candidates preparing for IBPS RRB 2024 can check all important dates which have been released along with IBPS RRB Notification 2024 on 7th June 2024. The online application process will start from 7th June 2024 and continue till 27th June 2024. In the table below, we have updated the dates as announced so that candidates can plan their preparation accordingly.

IBPS RRB Exam Date 2024 Out

IBPS has released the IBPS RRB Exam Date 2024 for Officer Scale 1,2,3 and Office Assistant prelims and mains exams along with the IBPS Calendar 2024. There would be 2 exams for IBPS RRB Clerk (Office Assistants) i.e. Prelims and Mains exam. For PO (Officier Scale 1), the Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages will be conducted by IBPS. For Officer Scale 2 and 3 a single exam and interview will be conducted. 

According to the IBPS Exam Calendar, the prelims exam for IBPS RRB PO and Clerk will be held on 3rd, 4th, 10th, 17th and 18th August 2024 and the mains examination for PO (Officer Scale 1) / Single Officers (II & III) is scheduled for 29th September 2024. The clerk’s main exam will take place on 6th October 2024.

IBPS RRB Vacancy 2024

The post-wise and category-wise vacancies for the IBPS RRB recruitment 2024 (CRP RRBs XIII) exam are announced along with the notification on 7th June 2024. IBPS announced 10313 vacancies for the RRB Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, II & III posts. 5800 vacancies are announced for Clerk (Office Assistant) posts, 3583 posts for PO (Officer Scale 1) and 930 for Scale 2 and 3. IBPS RRB 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the IBPS RRB 2024 Exam, a candidate is required to fulfill the given eligibility criteria:

Nationality / Citizenship
  1. a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or
  2. a subject of Bhutan or
  3. a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India or
  4. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)– Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.06.1996 and later than 01.06.2006 (both dates inclusive). 
For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)– Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1994 and later than 30.06.2006 (both dates inclusive). 
For Officer Scale-II (Manager)– Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1992 and later than 31.05.2003 (both dates inclusive). 
For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)– Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1984 and later than 31.05.2003 (both dates inclusive). 
Language Proficiency Candidates applying for the posts of Office Assistant in any particular RRB are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview.

Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, 
Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, 
Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
 Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)  Information Technology Officer
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / 
Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable:
Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.

1. All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.

ii. Proper document from Board / University has to be submitted at the time of interview for the posts of Officers (Scale I, II and III) and at the time of joining for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose).

IBPS RRB 2024 Application Fee

A total of Rs. 850/- is to be paid by candidates belonging to the General Category as the application fee for both the IBPS RRB Assistant and IBPS RRB Officers exam and Rs. 175/- for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category.

IBPS RRB 2024 Online Application Form

The Online Application link for IBPS RRB 2024 Office Assistant and Officers Scale-I, II & III has been activated with the release of IBPS RRB Notification 2024 at the official website of IBPS i.e. https://ibps.in. The online application registration process for the IBPS RRB recruitment 2024 will remain available for a short duration, only for 20 days from 7th to 27th June 2024

RRB Clerk Exam Pattern

IBPS has also released the exam pattern and syllabus for IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1, 2, 3, and Office Assistant posts along with the IBPS RRB notification 2024 pdf. The exam pattern for the selection to the post of Office Assistant is quite different from that of the exam pattern for the selection to the post of Officer Grade. For IBPS RRB Office Assistant, the Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  • • Preliminary Exam
  • • Mains Exam

No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

Note- IBPS reserves all right to make the exam duration of Tests separate for each test. The candidates will be properly informed about this in the information handout.

No interview is required after the Mains Exam to get selected for the post of Office Assistant.

RRB Officer 2024 Exam Pattern

For IBPS RRB Officer 2024, the exam will be conducted in three phases:

  • • Preliminary Exam
  • • Mains Exam
  • • Interview Process

The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by a candidate in both Mains Exam and Interview Process

A common exam (single exam) will be conducted for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II & III this year to select candidates based on their professional knowledge.

IBPS RRB Salary varies for the posts released. IBPS RRB officers receive their salary as per the latest revised pay commission and the approximate monthly salary has been tabulated below-
